Lycium Fruit is the fruit of Lycium chinense Miller or Lycium barbarum Linneá (Solanaceae).
Lycium Fruit contains betaine and other ingredients, and is said to have tonic and metabolic enhancing effects. Lycium Fruit is also called goji berry and is often used in medicinal dishes. It is also a highly nutritious food, containing carotene and vitamins B1, B2, and C.
