Citrus Unshiu Peel is the pericarp of the ripe fruit of Citrus unshiu Marcowicz or Citrus reticulata Blanco (Rutaceae).
Citrus Unshiu Peel contains hesperidin as an ingredient, and is said to be aromatic/bitter stomachic with antitussive effects. In general, dried citrus Unshiu peel stored for at least a year is used as a crude drug.
