Bupleurum Root
Bupleurum Root is the root of Bupleurum falcatum Linneá (Umbelliferae).
Bupleurum Root contains saikosaponin as an ingredient and is said to have anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. In the past, Bupleurum falcatum was considered to be a good product cultivated in Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is now designated as an endangered species and has not been collected from the wild.
