Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome is the rhizome of Atractylodes lancea De Candolle, Atractylodes chinensis Koidzumi or their interspecific hybrids (Compositae).
Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome contains atractylodin as an ingredient, and is said to have a stomachic property and intestine regulating and diuretic effects. When stored at low temperature for a long period of time, cotton-like substances may adhere to the surface. They are not mold but the crystals of the essential oil component.
